Rob Shalders

Rob, who has a serious interest for all things tech, joined Oceanskies’ IT team having studied computer science for many years. Whether gaining a professional qualification or tinkering in his own time Rob is often improving his skills and learning new web development techniques. It doesn’t stop with software development, he also enjoys spending time working on technological hardware. 

When Rob isn’t behind a computer you may find him on a badminton court. He plays casually and sometimes competes at a semi-competitive level. 

Rob has a FPV drone which he likes to get outdoors with, endeavouring to improve his drone flying skills and not crash in the process. This isn’t the only way he takes to the skies, Rob is currently working towards his Private Pilots Licence. 

As you can see Rob has an interest in hands-on mechanical work in a wide range of areas, cars included. He would like to build or work on a project car in the not so distance future, possible an MR2 or MX-5 so watch this space.
